Wet weekend

Over the weekend, i decided to head over to vancouver island and get a little camping trip in before my friend Kim's wedding on sunday.

When theres plenty of flat parking in the middle and being the last

vehicle on, I was a little optimistic when they got me to park here.. a lot steeper then it looks..
I spent Friday and saturday camping in 'Goldstream Provincial Park' I don't think I've ever heard it rain so hard on a tent.. Thankfully the 'Mountain 25' is weather proof, I was dry as a bone all weekend!

Kim and Manny, was a beautiful day. Kim's wife was busy every time I tried to get a picture of all of us. The Rain cleared up for enough time for the wedding to happen and be over, then it came down harder..

Lucas is one of my very best friends from the old days when I first started tattooing people. After almost 5years, I finally asked him if I could redo his tattoo. This was a great feeling when I bandaged his leg. Thanks luc!

Enlightenment

Well, today I got some very exciting and nervous news.

Since I have moved to Whistler, I have been doing a lot of person growth. I have always been trying to find ways to better understand our purpose in life and better/healthier ways to live out my life. Last week, my sister introduced to me the idea of a meditation course/retreat. Its based on an ancient form of strict meditation with no speaking, no eye contact with others, and a 'slim' vegetarian meal plan. The course is ten days, allowing you to get the full potential out of an experience like this. The course is held at the Dhamma Surabhi Meditation Center in Merrit, BC.

I will embark on this mentally and physically challenging course in Mid-December.

I am actually very nervous.. burgers and meat, and grease will be consumed a lot more until then.

Freehand Rose

This was SO much fun! It truly is an honour when a client can put enough trust in you to freehand a piece of art on their skin, and then tattoo it, without ANY previous drawings. (not to mention her first tattoo!)
