Spring has sprunnnnng

It's not quite warm enough to go swimming yet but the weather is great out here, the roads have just been cleaned and the bike is tuned up with new rubber!!

I managed to get out on two rides last sunday, for breakfast and an after work beer with a long time friend.

Summers going to be a good one i feel!

New work

Been a busy month with traveling and lots of new projects on the go. Working at Suncity Tattoos, 4 days a week, is keeping me super busy with a lot of walk-ins daily.

If you are waiting on a drawing from me, please be patient. I am trying to get at least one new project drawn up a week on top of my daily workload. So please be patient. Everyone has their name on my list, in numerical order.

Montreallllllll

As I'm sitting in the airport in montreal, waiting for my flight home, I am thinking about what a great trip it was!

I didn't get to tattoo a whole lot, but the crew at MTL Tattoo were awesome to hang out with. Drinking Guinness almost every after work and playing high stakes pinball will never be forgotten!

One of my main reasons of coming out here was actually to get tattooed. A fellow named Simon (dadahell.com) of POL tattoo is tattooing my back. What started out as wanting a large flower on the back of my neck, has turned into the start of my full back piece. After my first session with simon, during one of his trips to Edmonton AB, he did a full back collaboration with James Tex(deadly tattoos), I realized this may be my chance to get them both to work on my back together. Now, when I say together, I mean at the same time, two machines at once. The pain will be horrid and extremely draining, and will cost the same in the end, but the finished result will be amazing and I will have earned a true backpiece of amazing quality.

What a story!

Jonathan is one serious jedi!

We had a scheduled appoint wednesday night which was moved to this morning. Around 30mins past his appt time his canadian (freestyle arials) ski teammate called me to explain why Jonathan was not there, that he had over hit the quad jump and landed on his back, knocking himself out, breaking his right shoulder blade and possibly breaking his nose. Although he was very injured, he was determined to proceed with his getting tattooed.

So, he showed up at Suncity, bright and early by 9am, and we were linning the first of two wings by 10am. Took forever to align them up evenly. Not only did he NOT ONCE flinch, but he didn't even so much as crack a joke about the bad spots around the ankle bone(did i mention he hadn't taken ANY pain killers yet?) AND because of his shoulder, HE HAD to STAND the whole time!!!!

Hopefully this will humble the complainers and winers, they do hurt but someone out there has felt waaaayy worse!!

Seasons openings

Thats right, by this weekend, all ski resorts will be open in BC. I have been sneaking a few days in already on my own time and sweat. I hiked up one of the main runs making my own path up the fresh snow. Ive been able to get three days in this week alone! Might I add that these three days were absolutely unreal! Heres some shots from this week. The snow was the best ive ridden in years!!
